Huntsville City FC announce new home kit, mascot ahead of 2025 MLS Next Pro season

On Monday night, ahead of the club’s third season in MLS Next Pro, Huntsville City FC hosted an event for season ticket holders where two announcements were made.

First, the club’s home kit was revealed, and while it is the club’s familiar navy blue, there are brand new details. For the first time, the “Rocket City Roots Kit” features white sleeves and shoulders, while the kit also features accents in a lighter shade of blue, again a first.

The club’s 2024 away kit, the “To The Moon Kit” has been brought back for the 2025 season as well. Personally I think that’s an excellent decision for perhaps the best kit in MLS Next Pro’s young history.

Also announced on Monday night was the club’s first mascot. “Marshall the Cosmic GOAT” is inspired by the Capricorn constellation, furthering the club’s connection to Huntsville’s long history in space travel.

Huntsville City FC’s MLS Next Pro season kicks off on the road on March 9th against Chicago Fire 2. The club’s first game in the Rocket City comes on March 28th against Philadelphia Union 2.
